Building flexible platforms for a fast-moving iGaming market
In a crowded platform landscape where speed, flexibility, and regulatory agility increasingly define success, Wise Gaming has carved out a reputation for putting operators first. From modular technology and rapid market launches to multi-licence scalability and hands-on partnerships, the company positions itself as a true enabler of growth rather than a rigid platform provider. In this interview, Wise Gaming Commercial Director Steven Paton shares how the business is building operator-friendly technology, supporting international expansion, and responding to rising demand across key regions such as Latin America.
Flexibility is often cited as a key differentiator in today’s platform market. How has Wise Gaming built flexibility into its technology stack, and how closely does your tech team work with operators to adapt to specific commercial and regulatory needs?
Flexibility at Wise Gaming starts with how the platform is built. From day one, we’ve avoided rigid, monolithic architecture in favour of a modular, API-first stack. This allows operators to configure products, integrations, and workflows around their specific commercial objectives rather than adapting their business to the platform.
Equally important is how closely our tech and commercial teams work with operators. Flexibility isn’t just technical — it’s collaborative. We take a hands-on approach with every partner, ensuring that market-specific requirements, operational preferences, and growth plans are reflected in how the platform is configured and deployed. That partnership-driven model is what allows us to adapt quickly as markets evolve.
Speed to launch is critical for both new entrants and expanding operators. What processes or technical decisions enable Wise Gaming to bring partners to market quickly without compromising stability or compliance?
Speed to market is about preparation, not shortcuts. Wise Gaming accelerates launches by offering pre-integrated core services, standardised onboarding flows, and jurisdiction-ready frameworks that reduce complexity at the start of a project.
On top of that, our internal delivery model is built around agile execution and clear ownership. Dedicated launch teams, defined milestones, and real-time collaboration between tech, product, and commercial teams mean decisions are made quickly and progress stays visible. The result is a launch process measured in weeks rather than months — without sacrificing stability or long-term scalability.
Wise Gaming operates across multiple licensing jurisdictions. How does your multi-licence capability benefit operators looking to scale internationally, and what challenges does it help them overcome?
Multi-licence capability gives operators options. Instead of rebuilding or restructuring their platform every time they enter a new market, they can scale internationally using a single core infrastructure with market-specific configurations layered on top.
This approach removes a huge amount of operational friction. Operators gain consistency in reporting, payments, and player management, while still meeting local requirements. For growing brands, it means faster expansion, lower operational overhead, and a more controlled roll out across multiple regions.
You often describe Wise Gaming as “operator friendly.” From your perspective, what does that mean in practice, and how does it translate into day-to-day collaboration with partners?
Being operator friendly means understanding the realities of running an iGaming business. In practice, that translates into clear communication, transparent commercials, and responsive support.
We don’t believe in static relationships. Our teams stay close to partners post-launch, providing ongoing optimisation, regular performance reviews, and open feedback channels. Operators aren’t treated as tickets in a queue — they’re treated as long-term partners whose success directly reflects our own.
How does Wise Gaming tailor its approach when working with new market entrants compared to more established operators, and what value can each type of partner expect from the platform?
Startups and established operators have very different needs, and we tailor our approach accordingly. New entrants benefit from guided onboarding, simplified configurations, and access to proven setups that reduce early-stage risk. Our role there is to help them launch confidently and build momentum quickly.
More established operators typically focus on optimisation, scale, and differentiation. For them, Wise Gaming provides deeper customisation, advanced tooling, and greater control over trading, CRM, and content strategy. In both cases, the value comes from flexibility — operators get what they need, when they need it, without unnecessary complexity.
Latin America continues to attract significant attention from the industry. What level of interest are you seeing from operators in the region, and how is Wise Gaming positioning itself to support LatAm-focused growth strategies?
Interest in Latin America remains extremely strong. We’re seeing demand from both regional operators and international brands looking to enter or expand across markets like Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
Wise Gaming supports LatAm growth through localised UX, strong regional payment coverage, flexible sportsbook configurations, and content that reflects local player preferences. Just as importantly, our platform allows operators to manage multiple LatAm markets from a single operational core, which makes regional expansion far more efficient.
Content breadth remains a key factor for operator success. Can you give us an overview of the providers available on the Wise Gaming platform, and how you approach curating a portfolio that meets diverse market and player demands?
Wise Gaming offers a broad portfolio of leading global and regional content providers across casino, live casino, and sportsbook. We work with established tier-one suppliers as well as specialist studios that bring regional relevance and niche appeal.
Our approach to content curation is pragmatic. We don’t integrate providers for volume alone — every addition must add measurable value, whether that’s improving engagement, supporting localisation, or strengthening a specific vertical. By balancing breadth with relevance, we help operators build content strategies that resonate with players across different markets.
